Creating jobs and entrepreneurs along the Belt and Road – how can China help?

Our keynote speech on the Belt and Road Initiative and job creation at the Shijiazhuang International Summit 

Our China Representative, Hannah Wanjie Ryder, delivered a keynote speech on the Belt and Road Initiative and job creation at an international summit in the city of Shijiazhuang, China on 1 July 2017. More than 100 participants from government, business an academia from over 15 developing countries discussed how to shift economic models and jobs towards innovative services and high-tech solutions to increase growth and avoid pollution. Our China representative proposed several ideas for how this could be done in line with working towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. Following the summit she met with the Mayor of Yuhua District and other government representatives to discuss how the China Africa Advisory can support the ongoing efforts.
