Participants discussed the emerging role of China in Africa’s energy infrastructure, whether China is becoming a driver of clean energy investments, and the implications of China’s growing role for Germany and other traditional donor countries in financing renewable energy projects in Africa.
The event was co-hosted by the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies and the Mercator Institute for China Studies.
