Practical Research
We offer practical research, including policy and market research, focusing on climate change; sustainable industrialization and trade, including supply chain development and analysis; environmental technologies; transport and urbanization. Practical research means for us that results are concrete, practical and applicable for our clients.
Policy Research
We conduct policy research at the international, national and local levels. At the international level, we are specialized in the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, Belt and Road Initiative, the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the intergovernmental climate change and sustainable development processes, including the UNFCCC Paris Agreement and the UN Agenda 2030 with its Sustainable Development Goals. At the national and local levels, we focus on institutions, strategies, plans, processes and actions that are relevant for sustainable development.
Market Research
We work with local partners in African countries and China to identify, compile and analyze latest accurate data and information on market needs, competition and customers. We apply both qualitative techniques, including focus group discussions, in-depth interviews as well as quantitative techniques, such as customer surveys and analysis of secondary data.
